Introducing the Pearl Headband
Most of our daily routines have changed over the last few weeks. With these changes comes a lot of added stress.
If you’re anything like me, even though you’re an adult, your face is breaking out like you’re in middle school all over again. I wake up almost daily with a new tender spot on my face.
So, I’ve decided that tonight I’m going to pamper myself with a little self-care.
I grabbed my “Pearl Headband” and headed into the bathroom. I washed my face and applied a green tea mask. While the mask sits and does its job, I’m going to give myself a manicure. Maybe tomorrow I can have some free time to paint them?! Ha! A girl can dream, right?
The “Pearl Headband” is such a versatile accessory. Its perfect to hold your hair back while having a little “me time” or when going for a walk on a crisp spring morning.
The free pattern for this pull through scarf is shared, below. However, I know many of you like to print your patterns or save them, digitally, for later use. So, I’ve asked Trista to create an ad-free PDF of this pattern for you to use at your convenience. You can purchase the PDF for just $2 through either of the button links, below.
How to Make the Pearl Twist Headband
I’ve been wanting to make a headband for a while now, and I love the look with the new trendy closure. The one where the ends are twisted with a clean looking finish. I also fell in love with the stitch combo that makes the “pearl” while working on another one of my designs. Why not incorporate it all together?
I decided to use Knitpicks/WeCrochet’s Brava Sport because of how soft and squishy it is. I also love the price of Brava Sport. During these trying times, if you get great quality yarn for an amazing price, you have to embrace it!
The best part of this design is that I can get three, yes THREE, headbands from one skein. Even with normal daily interruptions of a busy home, I am able to finish each headband in under two hours. I’m sure it would be less if I could be left alone without those interruptions!
