Bottom Up Double Brim Beanie: Free Crochet Pattern

Pinterest graphic of Breckenridge Double Brim Beanie: Free Crochet Pattern

This bottom-up double brim beanie is the second of four hats being highlighted in my “All the Double Brim Hats” series. You can find the others here:

  1. Keystone Ribbed Hat
  2. Breckenridge Double Brim Beanie
  3. Aspen Knit Look Beanie
  4. Vail Slouch Hat

This delicately stitched beanie has a slight swirl to the stitches that gives it a textured, yet feminine, feel. The double brim is a ribbed SC and is both soft and warm.

I’m convinced this is going to be the hottest style of the winter so I hope you’ll make many of them to give away or to add to your craft fair inventory – you’re people are going to LOVE it!

Turn right side out – the seam will be on the inside. With your hook at the top of the piece, fold the band in half so that the brim is doubled. You’ll be working around the brim,
matching the ends of the rows together and working through both layers to sew the brim closed with round 1.
