Bottom Up Double Brim Beanie: Free Crochet Pattern
This bottom-up double brim beanie is the second of four hats being highlighted in my “All the Double Brim Hats” series. You can find the others here:
This delicately stitched beanie has a slight swirl to the stitches that gives it a textured, yet feminine, feel. The double brim is a ribbed SC and is both soft and warm.
I have SO enjoyed working on this double brim hat series and experimenting with different ways to create a double brim. I’m convinced this is going to be the hottest style of the winter so I hope you’ll make many of them to give away or to add to your craft fair inventory – you’re people are going to LOVE it!

Make Your Bottom Up Double Brim Beanie!
With size H hook
Ch 19.
Row 1: SC in the second chain from hook and in each ch across. CH1, turn. (18 sts)
Row 2: (working in back loop only), SC in the same st as turning ch, SC in each st across. (18 sts)
Row 3 – 62: repeat row 2
Fold so that right sides are together and SLST a seam, connecting the back stitch of the last row to the remaining loops from the foundation chain.
