The Twin Sisters Beanie
This soft, chunky, and warm, but lightweight beanie is my favorite fall design yet! I love the ribbing detail that gives it such stretchy and a comfy fit, which is achieved through alternating double crochet and back post double crochet. Plus it looks great on everyone – a wonderfully unisex design. I am especially enthralled with the geometric mountain motif and contrasting yarn colors. Tapestry techniques (use this helpful tutorial if you are new to tapestry crochet, just remember to keep tension on the carry through yarn loose so your hat is not too tight!) will help with sorting the color changes, though the back post double crochet stitches make this style a little tricky!

Pattern Notes
- Skill Level: Easy
- US Terminology
- Double crochet and back post double crochet rows are alternated to create the unique ribbing look. Each row will have dc or bpdc at the beginning to remind you of which row you are on.
- Color changes happen in the middle of the rows in this pattern. The color changes are indicated in the written pattern by a new color abbreviation next to the number of stitches in that color; for example g1, w2. G represents the mountain color and w represents the background color.
- Color charts can be found in the premium pattern available in the 30 Days of Cozy Super Bundle, on Etsy, and on Ravelry. See links, below.
