Nothing makes me happier than crocheting hats…and crocheting hats for Christmas just takes the joy to another level!
When I’m at my peek, using super bulky patterns and my trusty 9.0 mm, I can finish a hat in about an hour. So, 10-12 hats a day isn’t out of the question.
What to do with all those hats? Well, I love to donate to local charities for the homeless, bring some to the schools for kiddos to lost a hat, and to drive around handing out hats to folks who are working outdoors and at drive-thru windows. It’s such a fun winter tradition…Kevin and I pack up the car with hats and snacks and fill out hearts with the spirit of the season.
And then, of course, there are the craft fairs and the Christmas gifts. By the end of December, I’m all hatted out…but the when the urge hits, my stash takes a hit, too!
